You sound like you might be more suited for a smaller facility to afford some flexibility in your life. Money will not be as good but you can find satisfaction at places other than ATC12's, they are not the place for everyone.

The problem is that I want to have a somewhat 'normal' schedule so that I can help care for the children at night and take them to the park on the weekends. I don't have kids now but would like to in another 3-4 years

Do you know how long it takes to get certified And, do you have any suggestions on what to do to be sure this is the right career path for me How did you know it was right for you
