I think SoCalis the busiest tracon. Although in this case numbers don't mean much to the individual controllers. O'hare, or NY or ATL will all have sectors/positions that are as busy as any in the world. SoCal gets a higher count based on more airspace.
No idea on uncontrolled airports. Who would do the count ![]()
