Gotcha well hopefully we all get hired, and be in atc for a long career we'll see what happens i guess. i am ready to see the whole hiring process with this.

One we are not trying to get a job in a federal contract tower we will be applying under the CTO announcement with the faa.

according to instructors at the FAA academy and tower managers at facilities i have talked to the FAA is fed up with CTI schools they are producing a poor product that has little to no retained knowledge of anything pertaining to ATC. The washout rate for CTI graduates is not that far off of the washout rates for OTS. i am also a student at AATC and i will be recieving my CTO in May. i was also refered to this school by a current FAA (not contract) instructor at the FAA academy in OKC he happens to be my father he believe that this school will get me into the FAA faster then going to a CTI school so thats what im doing im willing to take a gamble and pay $50000 with the chance of getting into FAA quicker. to the original poster if you have questions you can PM me as well and i will give you my personal cell phone number and you can call me and discuss the school with me over the phone and i can answer any questions you might have about the school from the students prospective. and rosstafari when did you graduate from the academy in OKC and what facility are you currently checked out in? everytime someone mentions AATC you call it a scam i dont see how its a scam we are paying for a CTO not a job in the FAA i will recieve a CTO which is what i came to this school for. if i dont find a postion in the FAA then i will look internationaly to find a job one way or another i will have a job in the Air traffic world somewhere. you can talk all you want about how bad the school is but look at the scores we have gotten on the written CTO exams we have 3 99's two 97's i got a 95 a 93 and the lowest score is a 92. we also have 5 students waiting to recieve their scores from the FAA. as a controller you have to take the written CTO exam. what did you make on yours? what factual evidence do you have as to AATC being a scam?

Maybe not but I think AATC is a good thing and am just glad some people out their could give the person that started this post some info. I don't give too shits what rossta thinks anyway. i'm just to dam old for that crap.

Exactly. If it works out as a viable option, great. We'll have it up here for everyone to see. But for the time being, nobody's even graduated yet, they're brand new, and they're making fantastically huge claims that they can't back up yet.

You can bitch about it and take shots at me all day long, but that doesn't change the facts. Show me a grad who's got his CTO through AATC or Link that was hired by the FAA and is in a facility. Until then, you've got promises of what you'd like, not what exists.

L3 has an ATC academy that's not a scam. Their # 903-786-6200 If you complete the academy and check out, you walk out with a CTO. If you hear that this school is a scam, you can be assured that student had the problem. Trust me on this. Check into to it and be your own judge.
