Question for FCT folks
Posted: 12-01-2008, 05:47 PM Has anyone heard of an FCT contractor picking somone up in the recent past with no CTO? I have heard of a few people getting hired maybe 5 years ago as developmentals. They were prior military and one CTI grad.

Re: Question for FCT folks
Posted: 12-02-2008, 12:46 AM Thanks... I'm guessing that they require a CTO? Are there any that hire CTI grads?

Re: Question for FCT folks
Posted: 12-02-2008, 09:57 AM They are hurting for manning as well... IMO if you have a CTO then you should be good. Most contract towers arent that busy/complex but there are a few out there that will make your head spin. They just dont have a training program designed from the ground up. Contract companies are looking for a profit and if you cant get certified in a decent amount of time then you are no good to anyone, them or the facility. This is mainly why they require a CTO.
