Is there any site that displays contract tower pay scales? Sorry if this is a repost, could not find it.

there is no pay scale... there is just pay, haha. Everyone makes the same amount from day one except the managers who make an extra $1.50ish per hour.

Most are between $25-26/hour with an additional $3 and change per hour for benefits. this benefit money can be used directly towards a medical plan or can be put into your 401k.

So basically its around $28 per hour.

I know of some contract towers in the Houston area that pay just under $30 per hour...somewhere around $29 something, plus the extra $3

Had a buddy just quit a contract tower. They were working single controller ops. He got busy as hell and his relief that was there 15 mins early would not help out. He said everyday was an incident waiting to happen and was not worth the money he did make.

SQL in the bay area makes $30+ base. then the fringe on top of that.

single controller ops is the norm at least half the time on your shift. that's how FCT's are more cost efficient than FAA towers. the smaller FAA towers and the busier FCT towers are exactly the same in operation. the only difference is one pays less (prior to white book) and does it with 5 people and the other pays more and has 5 supervisors and 10 controllers. see where the savings come from.
