Far 65.39
Posted: 04-03-2009, 07:08 AM

FAR 65.39 (I think) states (and I'm paraphrasing here) that if you earned your cto through say CCBC that you cannot apply for another cto at a different facility until you have 6 months at CCBC with a cto or 6months at a new facility without a cto..... In the FCT world how are people getting hired with just a cto and no experience???

In other words, you need six months experience where you have a facility rating before migrating to a different facility, or 6 months at a new facility before you are eligble to apply for a new CTO.

You know what?? I think I just said the same thing twice. Just go read FAR 65.39 and get back to me ok?? I'm curious to know if there is a way around that. Military notwithstanding!!!

Thanks!!! I'll expect a full report on my desk by 10am
