For all the guys and gals working at contract towers. How are your days off scheduled, by seniority, rotating days off? Do you get weekends at all etc.

Thanks

Where I worked, we bid RDOs based on seniority, so I had Mon/Tue off. But, like in the FAA, every facility does it differently.

Yeah, its usually based off of seniority. If you are new there plan on having your days off in the middle of the week.

FCT's get a Sunday pay bonus(25%) so if the controllers there would rather work Sunday for the money then you have a shot of getting Sundays off.

It all depends on the facility manager. At my last tower it was decided by the ATM based on brown nosing points.
