Re: pay for kodiak, alaska
Posted: 06-07-2009, 03:37 PM I believe cola is 1500 there, and you get extra pay for Sun, and Nights. But the sun doesn't seem to want to go down lately. If you have little debt or expenses you will be saving really good money. Kodiak Ive been told is really beautiful, but your land locked. Im from Cali so Im not to big on AK, but to each his own.

The first time, I flew in to kodiak on Alaskan Airlines and the plane made two approaches, but because of the weather conditions, we were unable to land, so we turned back to anchorage. well that's my two cents! |

Posted: 06-08-2009, 12:11 AM Im in Bethel, so Im sure anywhere else in Alaska is better, with exception to the small villages. But yea if you like to fish, and hunt youll love it. Im guessing you are wanting to apply to the opening in Kodiak?
