Contract Job with out a facility rating?

Is this possible? have a cto just not facility rated. Im guessing no but hoping.

I dont know why it would be out of the question. When I worked a contract tower most companies required 3 years of experience with a cto.

YES...........The CTO will open the door. Facility rating does not not hold that much weight. if you have a few years tower(CTO) rated you should be able to find employment with the FAA(provided under age limit, CTO program) or with the contract co. like Serco. Good luck!!

As long as you have held your first CTO for 6 months at a facility you are in like flynn.

I'm a serco employee and you would have to be prior military or faa to get in.

how do u have a CTO but not facility rated? are u talking about the CTO test u take at Keesler?

I only have one CTO with the Air Force, but I hope it is enough for a contract job!!!!!!
