fct employee wondering if any contract controllers have heard ANYTHING regarding the new contract thats s'posed to be in effect 2/1/10. we feel like mushrooms!

hey dan-seems the gov was waiting to finalize everything til after the natca vs. faa ruling which was resolved dec. 11, then of course there were winter holidays (to be pc) so we are certain the word will be out shortly...

interesting they wait for the faa-natca contract to decide on who gets the Midwest tower contract...they didnt wait to hire new people. we had one just start 2 weeks ago. things that make you go hmmmmm.......

Go to https://faaco.faa.gov/, on the left side click on "current announcements", then do a search for the keyword "tower".

I haven't seen any yet, but then again we have only know that we had our contract renewed for 3 days.
