Thanks for the job info on MFE. Altough it is somewhat out of the area that I'm looking for, it's great that you put it out there. There are a lot of people looking for FCT jobs or jobs other than FAA, and this is just the type of cooperation that we need between controllers. Sharing information and helping one another out is what it's all about. Thanks again.

Thanks for the heads-up on the MFE opening. I'm in Afghanistan now and will be coming back to the US soon and I am looking for a position back there.

RVA right now has openings in LRD (Laredo) and BRO (Brownville) and MFE (McAllen), some of the younger folks went to the FAA. The way RVA works is that you go to the web site and enter your first, second, etc, choices of areas or towers you want to go to. The area manager (Mike Feely) then selects the names and advises the towers. If you know this area, south Texas, MFE is the place to be.

Thanks again for the info. My home is currently in western KY so I don't know much about the south Texas area. I'll fill out RVA's application and see what happens. So, you think MFE is the better place to be? Guess beggers can't be picky thought, can they? It's a little difficult job hunting from over here, so once again, thank's for you information, I appreciate it.
