Anyone Looking For Redirect?

I am currently happy with the state and possible facility I have been selected for, but willing to discuss details. To make sure there is not a whole lot of difficulty in a redirect please have similar stats. Details below:

Source: CTI
Offer: TOL
Clearances: Complete
Academy: Awaiting FOL and date
State: LA
Facility: KLFT (tentatively slated)

Only requirement is that the facility level is equal to or greater and not on the TCI listing for drop in level below KLFT level 6.

I have 2 friends that already did a facility swap at the same stage of processing for Centers, they just contacted their HR Reps and said they wanted to swap. I am not familiar with the Terminal swap procedure.

This isn't let's make a deal, and you willing to negotiate your facility is laughable. You are a predetermined, budgeted and essentially useless commodity at this point. A little harsh, but true. Check out then “ negotiate "

I'll take your PROFESSIONAL advice after you check out. Seems you have more experience than HR in this matter, maybe you should reclass from a developmental to HR.

Already being in the system and working, he has more experience than you at this point, and you can learn a thing or two from Devs, who have been through same processes that you are going through now. You should have checked your pride the moment you were notified to interview, and move on with some humility.

Unless he has direct experience with a similar situation, I wont learn anything from him. There is no 'pride' in putting it on the table that you are willing to redirect, or anything wrong with it. If someone is considering LA, they at least know of one person that they can discuss the details (if they browse the site).
