Should I brush up on the 7110.65 before the PEPC interview?
Posted: 06-17-2009, 05:36 PM

Someone told me that they might ask questions from the 7110.65...I don't know if I believe that or not.

Advice? Knowledge? 2 cents? ANYTHING?!

Well, it would be kinda F'ed up to ask an OTS with no aviation knowledge questions from a book they have likely never heard of... I am sure it will have nothing to do with something they will teach in OKC.

If ATC is what you want to do, brush up up on it anyways. During my interview they did ask me describe a OE, and a few other question. Nothing to crazy like whats the c/s of an a/c with the presidents family on board.

There is a 3 page set of questions given to every interviewer. They must ask every question on these pages. I had this right in front of me yesterday during my interview and I saw each question as she read it. There were NO 7110.65 questions. Once slight caveat, we skipped about 10 questions that all pertained to prior ATC experience (specifically outside of CTI school). There may have been those questions in there.
