I got a weird email from Aviation Careers today..
Posted: 06-24-2009, 03:51 PM

Did anyone else get an email from aviation careers today that explains how to apply to the CTI announcement? It also has info pertaining to the length of the training in OKC and how much you will get paid. Two word docs are attached too...

I'm posting because I think its a little strange that I got this email since I already have TOL. But if other CTI guys who already have TOL got this email today I wont freak out. I just figure I'm on their mass email list or something...

Do I really need another reason to stress out during this hiring process!

I went to my PEPC in February so there has been 1 panel since I got my TOL. I've emailed my HR rep about 27 times, and I spoke to her last week. All my stuff has checked out and my clearance is finished. I just think its a little weird. I didnt even get this email when I was applying to the CTI announcement!

HOLY CRAP! You guys will never believe this...hold on, let me settle down a little bit because I'm in shock and about to pass out...okay you ready? I called the aviation careers number, pressed 3...AND SOMEONE ANSWERED THE PHONE! At first I didn't even know what to say. I thought it was one of those funny voice mails where people say hello and you starting talking to them, only to find out its their damn voice mail. But this was an actual live, breathing, human being. My mind is officially blown!

And it gets better...she even asked me who my HR rep was and if I wanted to speak to her! I laughed and said "I have her voice mail message memorized and I don't have anything to ask her right now." She laughed and said "She is sitting at her desk if you want me to put you through." Mind blown again.

I think they are just having fun with people today. So if you have a question for EM...call her right now because she is not doing anything!!
