CTI Grad...should I apply to PUBNAT 8 too?
Posted: 07-06-2009, 04:13 PM

I graduated from a CTI program in May and applied under CTI on June 1st. Would it be beneficial to apply under PUBNAT 8 also since I wouldn't have to take AT-SAT again and basically would just have to fill out the application?

I certainly would. We have a far better chance of making it under the CTI announcement, but the more apps, the better in my book. This is especially true with as early on as you are. If you were selected at the last set of panels, I wouldnt so much think so, personally I say go for it. It couldnt hurt.

My $.02

It would be a good idea....however, if you get selected under the PUBNAT, you will not get the benefits of being a CTI grad. You will have to be in OKC longer for the AT-Basics classes. If you scored well on your AT-SAT you are more than likely going to be picked up under the CTI announcement. Good luck and I hope this helps your decision.

Yeah I know I would have to attend basics under PUBNAT but I just want to get picked up as soon as possible. I figure my best chance will be under the CTI announcement but figured it can't hurt having more than one app in. Thanks for your input.
