Anyone else in hiring process with ZDC?

Hey everyone. CTI grad spring 09, interviewed december 2 '09. All I know is I was chosen for ZDC. No TOL yet. Is anyone else along a similar path?

Here is the email I got from M.G. this morning. enjoy.

As to hiring. Unfortunately Air Traffic has reduced our hiring numbers for FY2010 and cut class requirements. At this time, I can not tell you when I can get you into the Academy. As soon as we can get you scheduled for a class (as of now it looks like in FY2011), you will receive a firm offer letter at that time. I wish I could give you an exact date that for an Academy class date, but with the hiring numbers reduced, I can't tell you anything different.

I asked her how the staffing level was at ZDC, but this is the response i got. I'm not sure if this is an email she sends to everyone who is asking questions or what.

Anyways figured I'd pass it along..

There are an assload of people at the Academy going to ZDC. There are 6 in my class, there were 7 in a class in front of us, 6 in a class behind us, and probably even more I don't know about.

Add another 4 to ZDC from my basics class that just started recently

wow...ok thanks guys....I bet the 2011 was a standard email that is being used. I work in a hr position now and we have those kinds of emails....however i doubt it is off from what is true....probably will be waiting to '11 (october)

Wow. Wonder why ZDC made out so well training this year when so many other facilities didn't? Surely they couldn't have been that bad off in comparison.
