CTI Grads average wait time???

just interested how long you cti grads waited until being picked up?

I haven't got picked up yet, but you could probably expect to wait 1yr to 1.5 before getting picked up. I'm going on month 7 right now. I'm hoping I get something this next panel. Even if I do get offered a job, I wouldn't get a class date until 2011 more then likely.

I graduated December 08. Applied to the CTI anonouncement in march. Was contacted in June for a position at ZJX, interviewed a few weeks later there. PEPC'd on august 3rd in ATL. All clearances are in. Probably won't see academy date until fy 2011.

So realistically, would you say that time from application to the academy is averaging 2 years right now?

Looking for me like 2 1/2 years from graduation to Academy... Im waiting on a TOL now.

Sadly enough, yes....I would hope that in the next 2-3 years we see the hiring speed back up to <6-8 months like it was before, but I doubt the FAA learned their lesson so as soon as facilities open back up so to speak they'll probably flood them with trainees again...Which isn't a bad thing if I'm one of those trainees lol Anyways that's just my speculation so take it for what it's worth.
