    ASU has simulators for Tower, TRACON, and Enroute classes. The Tower simulator was the coolest thing about the whole program. I was told it is very similar to the ones that trainees utilize at Sky Harbor. Verne Latham, the Tower professor, is a great person to learn from. He has a passion for seeing the students succeed.     The only downfall that I have experienced in the ASU ATC program is the class availability each semester. Many required courses are only offered on one day at one time with limited seats. As someone who works full time in addition to going to school full time, this is often very frustrating, especially if the course schedules change from semester to semester. For someone who doesn't have to work or only works part time, this may not be as big of an issue. The simulator classes are pretty pricey ... [Read More]

    ASU has multiple campuses, and the CTI program is at their Polytechnic campus co-located at the Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport (KIWA). The CTI Program's Simulator is great and you get a lot of time working problems for PHX, Phoenix TRACON and Albuquerque Center. There are about $6,000 worth of course fees tacked on to your tuition for the use of the Sim, so be prepared for your tuition bill to increase in the last few semesters.
