I started going to Purdue in 2007 and graduated May 2011 with a bachelors. I did the full 4 year to be able to study other things on the side incase ATC did not pan out.

The campus is great. It is a little spread out (the airport where most AT classes are is a 15-20 minute walk from main campus) but they do have a good bus system to get you anywhere you need to go.

The professors in AT are very helpful especially the CTI ones. Many of them have worked for the F... [Read More]

Awesome Aviation School! Awesome CTI program. Purdue Owns its own airport so the experience and exposure you will get to the aviation industry is great! the Purdue Degree is extremely respected and will take you a long way. If your interested in Aviation Managent, technology, and flight I would do anything I could to get to school at PURDUE! Boiler UP!

If you're from Indiana, Purdue should be your only option if you're interested in CTI. Outside the state, the school is rather expensive and there may be better options. In terms of just CTI, Purdue isn't all that great. Others I've talked to that went to different schools had more ATC classes and for the most part, their simulators were much better. However, in terms of having a well respected degree that can be used for much more then just ATC, you can't beat the Purdue aviation management deg... [Read More]

Overall, my experiences have been great at Purdue. You will really enjoy your time here. There is plenty to do at the campus (and more to do when you turn 21 as always). There are around 40,000 students at Purdue so you will be exposed to working in groups with diverse people and get to make plenty of friends.

As far as the curriculum goes...

If you come here for CTI you will graduate with your CTI of course but you will also have the ability to do other things... [Read More]

    Purdue the cradle of astronauts.

Apart from the satellite campus in Indy, the Purdue main campus also has this same 2 year program. This two year program is of course after you get the first two years of gen-ed and other electives out of the way. So you end up leaving with a bachelor's degree which is nice when you're done. The Main campus is everything you can come to expect from a big school. Approx 40,000 other students there studying a bunch of different specialties. The ATC... [Read More]

There is a 2 yr program located in Indianapolis, IN with Purdue, You take all your aviation and a few general education courses with Purdue located directly at north side of Indianapolis International airport and you take the rest of your general studies at IUPUI. Its a really good program with a really small community of students and staff. I recommend it to anyone in the Indy or surrounding area. Many students have transfered from Purdue campus to get out of the 4 yr. deal to attend the 2 yr C... [Read More]
