Grants/Scholarships
Posted: 08-25-2010, 06:50 PM Does anyone have any information on grants or scholarships that would apply to out of state tuition? I'm in South Carolina looking at attending MGC next fall.
Thanks. |

Posted: 08-27-2010, 07:37 PM Thanks for your response. I read on the MGC website that
Code:
Academic Common Market - Students majoring in a specialized field that is not offered at a college or university in their state may apply for this waiver through the Southern Regional Education Board http://www.sreb.org/page/1304/academic_common_market.html MX |

Re: Grants/Scholarships
Posted: 08-27-2010, 08:01 PM Get the paperwork started with your state coordinator this Fall since program changes to the ACM are usually made in the Spring. Make sure you specify either the associates program, bachelors program, or both. Also, I would probably apply for admission to MTSU as well in case it doesn't work out with adding the MGC program to the ACM inventory. Since SC has no CTI programs I can see the AS or BS in air traffic management being added to the inventory. Make sure you get all kinds of catalog and course descriptions to submit to the SC coordinator. Also note that GA has the ultimate decision on whether to allow the program into the inventory or not.
