Well, I start Monday. I'm just taking core classes though and should be starting the ATC courses in the winter. I'm coming in with a PPL and have been wondering about joining Alpha Eta Rho or the flight team, can anyone provide input on that?

If you already have your PPL, then you should be starting off with enviroment & intro, yeah? They are cool, I enjoyed them. If you ever get the chance, take a class with Gustad.

you don't need to take just core classes... as lindenator said, take at least your intro or enviornment of ATC classes. Good luck, hope to see you new guys around the lab. The more pseudo pilots the better!

went to the "mandatory" orientation today witch was totally useless if you have been to the college before. looks like a bunch of people going into the program (at least a lot more than i thought ) although i'm not sure how many were there for the pilot route.
i'm taking the 15 credits starting this Monday. hopefully to be completed by the winter term of next year.

Matt_CTI, which lab are you taking this semester? I'll be in Gustad's TRACON lab on Tuesday nights.

I ll be in the Tower class this semester. This is my final semester too, YAAA! Im in there on wednesday nights for that. You can go to the lab though any day you want (as long as its open on the schedule though).

I finished it in a year and a half. Keep taking 5 classes, even in the summer if you want to get done.

I didn't get an invite to the orientation, no idea why. My first class tomorrow is International Relations at 8am and then I have a couple hours to kill until Algebra at noon.

did you guys buy the h31 headset or the cheaper ones for the lab?
do you need one for pseudo pilot?
