I'm actually going into my 3rd semester at Broward. I plan on graduating in May. I think it's a great program. Top notch simulators (6 brand new STARS radar scopes & a brand new tower simulator). Of course, there are some minor downfalls to it being a new program (some "growing pains"), but I've learned a lot. The teachers are mostly from MIA or FLL (recently retired or still working) and are extremely knowledgeable. Also, Broward is really cheap compared to alot of other CTI schools. I'm starting at the end of august. hey joecc060 did you do your classes in the Miramar center or did you start them when they where still doing them in south campus?

The ATC classes are at the Miramar center... Some classes like aviation weather and electives are at the south campus. They never started the ATC classes at the south campus either.

i was going to look at this school if the jacksonville school didn't/doesn't work out

well i live 10 miles away from the miramar center (and am already in Broward college ) so it was a no brainer for me. now i just have to figure out what to do in that area for my 6 hour break or just go ahead and pull through with the 10 miles each way twice a day for 2 days a week.

You could always be in the lab... Maybe a few hours a day and then take a lunch break. There is a wendy's right around the corner or tons of other places to go.
