Keep in mind, though, Luke is a HIGHLY desireable base, and usually there is already a person "in mind" that they would like.

I can only hope that I get it. While a small token it feels good just to get referred...

Strange. I just got an email saying I wasn't qualified and wasn't referred to Luke (I'm prior Rapcon only). I've also gotten an email saying I was referred to Little Rock AFB and never heard anything of it. I am currently in the hiring process to go back to Kadena AB though, and I never got an email saying I was reffered to there. I can only assume you get referred to a lot of places and for some reason don't always get an email telling you that.

I thought Luke was Terminal only. The questions I answered for my application had nothing to do with Rapcon at all. I have no Rapcon experience.

Read the descriptions...a lot of them say we are making a "pool of applicants" and you may be referred to other....

That is true alot of them do say that. I can't say that I have ever been referred for an Air Force position. So this is a first for me. I am sure they may already have an idea of who they want to hire but I hold out hope..
