What website did you use to get referred to an air force base?

I used usajobs.gov to apply for it. Just got a response on the status yesterday.

This is the first time I have ever gotten referred for an Air Force position, especially me being an ex-Army controller.

What the work environment is like? How long does it usually take before they make their mind up about who they are going to choose for the position. Airspace info I can find out from google.

The work environment is great. I believe the advertised position on USA Jobs was for the RAPCON, though? That's what it looked like to me. I could be wrong, sometimes the announcements of both look similar.

The decision process is relatively quick, but the time it takes Luke to receive the referred resume's/applications varies. Once they have the apps in hand, the hiring authority will be able to make a choice in 1-2 weeks.

Keep in mind, though, Luke is a HIGHLY desireable base, and usually there is already a person "in mind" that they would like.
