I would call the facility directly and see if they are hiring. There's not that many out there. It would take you a half a day to contact them all probably.
I know Pt. Mugu is a good facility. I worked it for 5 years. It's busy and will test your ability. They also have a off-shore range that only works military in and out of the Warning Areas. That's a DoD job too. The NTD controllers work commercial, civilian (80%) and military (20%).
