Class Length Disparity
Posted: 03-11-2010, 08:38 PM I was reading thru the forums and someone posted that Enroute + Basics is 87 classroom days.
The FAA Academy online has the following for my Enroute URET class: 28744 05/14/2010 08/04/2010 10 OKC This would be 5 days short of 87 days if it actually ended on 8/4. So what is the truth? 87 days or the online schedule? ![]() |

Re: Class Length Disparity
Posted: 03-12-2010, 05:29 AM Probably what you found on the FAA website is correct. Keep in mind that class days are "approximate" and they do vary based on a couple of things (such as holidays). It all depends on when classes start, end, how many holidays are in there, days in each month, etc.

Re: Class Length Disparity
Posted: 03-12-2010, 11:52 AM the enroute + URET class does not include basics. you add the time for enroute + URET, which is 536 hours, plus basics which is 200 hours. you get 736 hours, divided by 8 and you get 92 days.
the 87 days that someone quoted you was probably enroute (no URET) plus basics. hope this helps. |

Re: Class Length Disparity
Posted: 03-14-2010, 07:33 PM Mbalunda, you have indirectly answered my question. If you started basics on 11/5 and end Enroute + URET on 03/22 then your class matches what the FAA has published. I simply bounced it off of the FAA Academy course offerings. Thanks!
