Either of the two ZKC guys wash out? I asked today at the center and they said that they heard the both passed, but they weren't 100% sure about it, and they're suppose to report on Monday...

He said he got travel pay.

Overall, the problems on the PV Seemed like the same ones we've heard about for a while now. The first two were straightforward, but that last one was harder in the first few minutes from almost anything we saw in training. You have to be real focused when you go in there.

We both passed and will be there bright and early Monday.

Nice! See you there! I'm the big guy that sits in the back left cubicle next to the window! Can't wait to meet you, and be ready to make your brain start hurting with all of the maps for Gateway!

Yeah, they've really stepped up on that, at least when I was there. Our instructor gave us a sheet of paper with phraseology on it that they make him take back because it wasn't "official" material given to every class.

But anything shared among students is fair game; they can't stop you from producing your own study material on your own time. Or stuff you find on StuckMic, for that matter. Maybe we'll make some non-radar scenarios for download... hmm.

It sucks, but once you hit radar, the only time you get is the time you're on position. No way to increase it or get around it. I guess the best thing to do is just make the most of the time -- be well rested and focused, and write down everything the instructor tells you afterwards.

Ditto to that. For me, I got a little pocket sized notepad and wrote down what I got wrong after every problem. I went home, reviewed the notes, and continued on. It worked pretty well.

I was more than OK with this. Getting to a point where I didn't feel bad for not going home and hitting the books because there wasn't really anything I could do outside the lab was nice.

Pretty sure I'm going to Ozark, so you'd be wasting your time with maps for Gateway.

Care to put a wager on that?

Someone tell you you were going to OZ?

My friends that are in Ozark told me I'd be going there months ago. Maybe the other guy is going to Gateway? Or, they lied to me.
