Our goal when we created our housing section was to provide better quality housing providers than students were used to. Prior to our housing list, students only had a handful of housing providers to choose from and they would all take your full per diem and offer you nothing more than a furnished room.
We feel that with the help of our users and housing section, we have been able to reshape the way housing providers treat the newer generation of FAA students. We have seen the apartments that are only willing to do the bare minimum for the student and charge the full per diem quickly fade away. We have also seen many of the providers drastically reduce their rate to remain more competitive with the students while at the same time offering more features.
While attending the FAA Academy, please do your part and choose a provider listed on our housing list. You can be assured that these providers offer much more for the students. From our housing list you have the option of using your full per diem and getting many many features (including food) or saving some money and only using a portion of your per diem to find a simple place to live close to the Academy. With any provider you will also be able to pocket all your food per diem while you are there.
