Isolla Bella 3 Years Later?
Posted: 08-17-2012, 10:32 PM Was out there in '09. Minus the partying that seemed to have been nixed, it was a pleasant stay for me and the family. (Sorry guys, after 12am... my 1 year old needs to sleep more than you need to play beer pong even if I'm playing it with you.)
Seriously though, what's it like now? Back then there were so many academy students that it was pretty good place. Just wondering how it is now that things slow down? RedBaron, I understand you have to market, and I respect that. But I want current resident replies more or less. Everyone thinks their own kid is cute. I need an resident perspective. |

Re: Isolla Bella 3 Years Later?
Posted: 08-18-2012, 07:07 AM I was there nov 11- jan 12. I Will definitely stay there again. It wasn't noisy when I was there or overly crowded. At least not in the building I stayed. I think it's in a good area surrounded by places to eat. My room was comfortable and you can't beat the cleaning service. Also the free meals are decent. On the us route if you don't want to drive.
Downfalls. Crappy washer dryer combo that shank all my clothes. By the time I left I was wearing shirts that could fit my 3 year old. the gym there needs some updating, specifically the free weights. It was so bad when I was there I got a membership at golds on NW expressway. Which was very nice and brand new. They only charged me $55 for 1.5 months. |

Posted: 08-18-2012, 07:55 AM Yea, when I went there the THOR as I called it crapped out after a few days. We just used the laundry room after that.

Re: Isolla Bella 3 Years Later?
Posted: 08-18-2012, 09:48 AM I just stayed there this past May-July. I'll more than likely stay there again for RTF when the time comes. There are still a lot of academy students there, 8/12 in my class actually. It's clean for the most part and convenient with the breakfast and dinner and shuttle to the academy. Also the gym, free courtesy cars, and rental cars all could come in handy. I agree that the washer/dryer deal was probably the worst part. That thing sucked big time.
The management/front desk did seem pretty disorganized too. They were like counting on their fingers to figure out how much to charge me. Definitely make sure you double check your bill and do the math yourself, just in case. Why are you going back to the academy? |

Posted: 08-18-2012, 10:48 AM i may be able to assist with some input here, I'm in the last 10 days of my 3 month here at Isola Bella. As far as the partying goes, Myself or my roommate has had no complaints on noise or excessive partying. we have been more than satisfied with the cleaning service and the front desk/pavillion staff. Always in great moods and ready to assist you with whatever you may need. i agree with you guys/girls about the thor washer/dryer combo not being the greatest, but not a huge deal. id stay here again if needed

Re: Isolla Bella 3 Years Later?
Posted: 08-21-2012, 03:28 PM When you book your stay, request an apt size washer and dryer. You will receive a full size washer/dryer set. Does a great job too. Pass it on.
