    Online MMPI-2 Test

Here is an online version of the MMPI-2 that I found while doing some research. Hopefully it will be useful to some of you on this forum. The questions are accurate and it scores the test for you.

    (removed due to DMCA)

There are documents published by the FAA that describe how they analyze the test and what their cutoff scores are. I also recommend going to google books as there are several books that give details on the questions and scoring.

I went in for my tier-2 evaluation today, so if anyone has any questions let me know. Now begins the fun game of waiting for my results....

Ya I took that example test, although legally this "practice" version is banned from being used in public it does show you where your faults are. I found out a lot from using this and I passed because of it.

I took the test out of curiosity. Basically any score above 70 on scales 1-9, excluding 5, is a ticket to tier-2 evaluation? Is that about right?

I found this FAA document explaining how they use the scores: http://www.faa.gov/library/reports/m...dia/200813.pdf

That's how I understood it. Good find BTW

I thought the exam was only like 300 something questions? This one is 567. I clicked on short form but nothing changed so I'm assuming that's how your score will print out.

Yup, anything over a 70 on those scales will flag you for further eval.

I found it very interesting how the FAA document states that only 4.9% of the applicants should require further evaluation. When I talked to the people at aviation medicine they told me that the rate is more like 50%, and the psychiatrist that I saw last week told me that it is probably higher than that!

I took the short version, it dropped it to 370 for me. The highest score I got was 64 on one scale, 40's and 50's on the rest so hopefully I don't get any crazier by the time I have to take it for real. I thought the 4.9% thing seemed low too but 50%? Dang, that's high.

    Re: Online MMPI-2 Test

By the way, some of those questions are hilarious. "I believe I'm being followed", "I believe I'm being plotted against", "I'm afraid of losing my mind", "Most of the time I wish I were dead". It's like, hello, I'm trying to prove I'm not crazy, how do you think I'm going to answer questions like this?

    Re: Online MMPI-2 Test

Well from personal experience and i am sure others on this thread who took the MMPI know these question are the exact ones that you get in the real version. With the above link to the FAA report you can see where you fall and your faults. Took the online test and closest score to a 70 was a 59 so i was not to worried about the test. Ill let you know how i fare when i get all the results. However if you take the online test truthfully and have many scores above 70's you got some problems ha
