Bad score on AT-SAT. What are my options

I scored a 77 on my AT-SAT. I am really bummed out about that. I know that the FAA will look at all the WQ before they even CONSIDER looking at me. What are my options? I can't take it for another year and I just feel kind of lost at this point. Can someone give me some advice?

What type of application are we talking, CTI or pubnat? Assuming CTI with your name you only get to take the AT-SAT once as a CTI student if you pass I believe. Those that do not pass can retake after a year. You can get hired with a Q score many people do. Network! and build a good resume.

I took it as CTI. We were told we can take it twice in a lifetime, as long as its at least a year between. I'm just trying to figure out how to network, as I know that is a huge part of this job. I'm just disappointed because I spent so much time and effort preparing for it and came up short.

From my understanding, CTI grads can only take the AT-SAT twice, and they must be at least 3 years apart... Has this changed?

Re: Bad score on AT-SAT. What are my options

When I started the CTI program we were told we could retake it once after a year. Recently I heard CTI students could only retake it if they failed. Your question would best be answered by Aviation Careers, so give them a call, !

And PS! I know my thoughts are just that... thoughts, but I truly believe that studying for the ATSAT is where most people go wrong. The CD is a good tool, but trying to master the games might not be so helpful.

I believe that you can only retake the AT-SAT as a CTI after 1 year if you dont pass. A 77 is a passing score. I am pretty sure you have to wait 3 years to retake it. Sucks man. I would give aviation careers a call 405-954-4657

You are not able to retake the ATSAT unless you A.) Failed the test the first time, or B.) You need to take the test to stay eligible in the program after three years past graduation. However, if you apply through the general public announcement, you will be able to retake the test.

I have 1 classmate that was selected for NM last panel and only had a qualified score...so it can happen. It really just depends on the states you select. Is there a lot of competition, are they going to be hiring, etc...

I graduated from a CTI school on May 2010, and have not yet taken the AT-SAT, is this normal?
