    Benefits package

I was just curious what you all had chosen to enroll with. They said the Blue Cross Blue Shield package is the most popular. They dont exactly make the comparisons the easiest in the world to look at (something with a side by side would have been nice).

I know this sounds stupid, but I always heard how great the benafits are for federal employees. What about these packages for us makes them so great? (besides the fact that we will have insurance period, which is a huge plus)

There is a side by side at the OPM site... I've used it a couple times to try to make some prelim decisions.

    Re: Benefits package

I went with BCBS when I first started. I didn't think the coverage for what I was paying was all that great. Then I quit and went to the private sector with LockMart. I can't wait to have Fed medical again. It may not be the greatest, but it is by far the worst.
