Ha, it's higher than that. More around 97% from what my instructors told us.

Got the email yesterday for OTS at the denver center and turned it down today. Its gonna take more than 2.5 to get rated after the 45 people they are hiring show up. Thats from the training manager himself that i spoke to before i turned it down. He didn't say how much longer but he said it will take a little longer. Now awaiting my VRA offer from texas.

Hello,
I'm currently enrolled in a CTI school here in Minnesota, but I'm new into the game so I'm hoping for the Academy (8 weeks?) in summer 2010.

I used to live in Denver and would love to go back, what do people know about Denver Center? My CTI school is geared for centers and I'm wondering if there is anybody out there who works at ZDV now, or knows about hiring, outlook, surrounding area info.. anything.

ZDV is in longmont which is about a 50 min commute from denver.

Sorry biggm, but Longmont is nowhere near 50 minutes from Denver. 25 if you have traffic and 15 from DEN.

I am also going to be considering ZDV, if I don't get ZOB as my 1st pick.

What's the Wx like there? Lots to do? Housing situation? Crime? etc...

I live in Highlands ranch (south denver) and it takes me 45 min to get to Erie airport without traffic doing 75. so from downtown it might take 30 min.
