ZMA or ZME?

I have my TOL for ZMA but was approached today by another CTI student about swapping. There are both pros and cons to both but I wanted to hear what you folk on here had to say....since your in the field and have more insight than us newbies would.

I'm currently at ZME and can only speak for ZME. The facility is a good facility and overall a good place to work. Like any facility its not perfect but I would say the management/labor relationships are pretty good. Training aspect is pretty good training program, and you can check out anywhere from 2-3 years from FACILITY ARRIVAL. A lot of the training time is dependent on timing for "D" and "R" school. Memphis area is ok, the only thing I will say and I again don't know how ZMA is but if you do come to ZME it isn't easy to transfer out of if that is something you would want to consider down the road due to staffing problems. Other than that I really don't have anything bad to say about ZME. Good luck with your choice, feel free to message me if you have any specific questions about ZME!

Yes as long as both facilities approve the swap. Its rare though.
