Does Chenega have the training contract? Are they a sub under Raytheon? Do you know what RPO's are paid there currently?

Thanks!

If anyone has more questions about ZMP or anything In minnesota, let me know. I know two retired controllers(facility managers) as well as one current tower operator at crystal. I would be more than happy to ask them anything.

I am not sure as too exactly how long, But I know for the past year a bunch of CTI from Grand Forks, have applied there. Your best bet would be to call the facility manager and express your interest, so he can pick you up when it comes to selection panels.

ZMP is got open hours from 8:00am-4:00PM and to contact them their number is
651-463-5510

MSP/St.paul Tracon # 612-713-4000. They have the same hours.

Last time I visited they looked fairly full, but ya never know. Let me know what you hear, aside from Florida, Minnesota is another place I really want to go.

I just visited ZMP a few weeks ago and asked them about staffing levels. They basically told me that they are well staffed, but are continuing to hire new controllers. He didn't specify at what rate, but emphasized that they are not putting a hold on hiring.

When you guys visit a facility you must remember that you are often being taken around by a management official who doesn't care that the actual controllers are working 10 hour work days and 6 day work weeks.

What you need to do is try to meet and talk with some of the controllers and then you will find out about staffing and working conditions.

Anyone inside ZMP got any insight as to when they've got more hires headed to OKC?
