I've had dreams about middle aged headsets wearing men...Think I should mention that when I go in for the psych test?

Re: What is ZOA like?
Posted: 02-03-2009, 05:35 PM ZOA has 3 domestic areas and 2 oceanic areas. the domestic areas have 12 positions each (6 d-side, 6 r-side). the oceanic areas have 8 positions each (2 d-side, 2 r-side, and 4 oceanic sectors). it's easy to figure out which one you would be able to check out faster on. i preferred the domestic areas so that's the one i asked for and got. i was in the east area, or area E. to me that was the best area to be in.
the locality rate there is probably the highest in the nation. i didn't really look at the new locality rates to verify though, so don't quote me on that. 32% is pretty freakin high though. if ur not familiar with the bay area, u get that 32% for a reason. it's insane how much houses cost there. things may have taken a turn for the cheaper in the last 6 months or so because of the economy. either way, $450,000 is about what u will pay for a small house (1900 sq ft). feel free to ask any specific questions, and i can answer them best i can. |

I appreciate that. Why did you feel the east area was the best to be in? At what point will I have the opportunity to request an area? |
