I've got ABQ Tower/TRACON in my sights for where I would like to work. Anyone know their staffing situation right now?

I was being processed two years ago and would have been sort of assigned to ZAB by default without really the option of choosing tower before I had to withdraw my app.

Curious if that would happen again or if I have a good chance to get in there. I want to see the planes and work the scopes.

ABQ is not taking anymore OTS hires that aren't already selected. The only way there now is to be a CPC and ERR or if they put out a bid.
