Greater Cincinnati Tower - CVG

Did the NYC PEPC July7 got a TOL for CVG Terminal positon...said i should start the academy towards the end of September(waiting on clearances still)...anyone from CVG or have any good/bad feedback about the facility and/or city. Im from MA and never have been to the area. I believe they have a TRACON there too...im assuming thats a plus because you can get trained in both areas? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I don't know much about the facility but used to live in this area. The airport is located in Northern Kentucky about 15 minutes from downtown. Most of the cities surrounding the airport have been built up in the last twenty years. The typical flavor of this area is single family homes and strip malls, it looks like anywhere U.S.A. On the plus side the people are pretty friendly and down to earth. Try some of the chili when you get there.

it is a very busy class B! Lots of live music and nightlife too!

I'm from Cincinnati. Great area. I know some people that work there now and have been to the facility a few times. Nice facility and newer equipment. It's an up and down facility. Should be a great place to go... the reds could use all the fans they can get
