Anyone have any insight on CHS? Staffing levels? Good/Bad choice to start for OTS applicants? ANY info you have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

jeffvdub, thanks. What about staffing levels? Are you all hiring for FY '10? If so, how many? Thanks again.

Hello,
I'm currently a CTI student and will be graduating in August of 2010. I would love to live and work in the Charleston area. I'm curious if anyone has any updated info on this facility. I will probably fall under the 2011 panels and I know it's far off and will probably change by then but if anyone that works there that might have an idea of future staffing and/or hiring could you please let me know.

Thanks,
Ken

I also live in Charleston. I've been to the facility twice, as a visitor =( , and met nothing but nice guys. The view from the tower, just like any other, is phenomenal the beach is right behind you! Charleston is a "fun" city. Good luck to you in the future.

Is there anybody that controls in Charleston, SC? I live around here and wanted some information on the facility. I've toured there and spent the day shadowing a controller in the TRACON. But, since im still in school I wanted to see if there were any opening as far as internships go.

Thanks,

Matthew Montgomery
