Charlotte Tower/TRACON - CLT

Anyone know if Charlotte is up/down level 12 or two different facilities? Does a controller need to check out in both? Thanks

Yup, up/down. There's video on youtube about it. I think its the only level 12 up/down and they are really hiring now. Filling 19 spots is the word I got.

you will need all certs, approach and tower, to get your CPC.

Very Good post. Read the article, splitting facilities is justification for the FAA to decrease the ATC level. Wow, what next? A new mathematical formula to downgrade higher ATC level facilities. Incredible....................

does anybody know how often they rate facilitys as far as moving them up a level? I read that DEN was the 5th busiest in the world and its only an 11.
