Really the only other question I have about the facility is about the average time to check out. I saw somewhere else that a level 10 up/down took an average of about 15 months.
I'm in Longview, TX GGG. Not sure the average checkout of CRP, but fac. level is not always a good way to judge. It all depends on how big the ego of your sup and training specialist is.

I grew up in Corpus and have been commuting in out of there for a couple of years. The winters are great, summers a little warm, but great for fishing, windsurfing and is very affordable to live. Areas like Calallen, Annaville, Portland, Flour Bluff and Padre Island are very nice and great for raising a family. Corpus is not too big nor too small either and has a great since of community, at least in the Calallen and Annaville area where I grew up. Calallen and Tuloso Midway have the better schools in the area. The airport is sort of out in the country yet close to town, which makes the drive to work not too bad, especially if you become familiar with a few of the back roads, which keep you off of S. Padre Island Drive or the Crosstown Expy. during peak times, but of course with ATC irregular schedules dealing with any sort of traffic should pretty much be non-existent. I've lived in a lot of places and all in all Corpus Christi is a pretty great place to live in my opinion.

Gal... ;-) But possibly. I know of two that just left here and one more that will be there before me. I'll get there the week of thanksgiving. I've heard lots of good things about CRP, both people and facility.

sorry about the mix up its all really great I just got back from visiting the facility met everyone that was working that day, the town is really nice for a smaller big texas city lots to do. The biggest thing at the facility looks like a lot of tight airspaces requiring coordination and most of the traffic will be navy. The chief said they had plenty of developmentals
