Calallen has good schools, a friend of mine is raising her family there. Not too far from work either. I live on the island, which is great, but I do believe that the island falls in the Flour Bluff school district... bleh. Gregory/Portland school district is also nice, I lived in Portland for a year. We are pretty inundated with trainees right now. I can't imagine we will be picking up many more but you never know.

I've been in line, like you, for too long. I'm trying to find some place to request a re-direct. Was told by MG: no slots in 2011 for ZTL, where I have had a TOL since July 2009. I know this is a long process, but I now feel I need to be proactive instead of waiting around for my CTI knowledge to evaporate entirely, if it hasn't already. I know a lot of people are in this same boat. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I wish they would offer a redirect, like they did for you and others, but no such luck. Good luck in LA.

If you haven't, give EM a call or email. I'm pretty sure she didn't get a whole lot of takers from those redirect offers, so you might be able to jump on that. Come on out to ZLA with us and join the party -- we'll hold a seat for you.
