i had my interview at Twin Falls. i like the city and Idaho in general.

the facility is a small level tower and non-radar approach control. i believe either Boise or Salt Lake Center plans on taking their approach control from them, so a bigger downgrade (or gosh forbid a contract tower) may be in the future. if i remember correctly they do about 30,000 ops a year. the non-radar approach control is the only thing keeping them FAA. in my opinion. Idaho Falls tower is busier then they are and is a Federal Contract Tower.

pay could be an issue there seeing as their a 5 (or even lower). but Twin is really cheap and a few hours from Boise. hope this helps.

i know nothing of the manning or hiring in the future there. oh yeah, their ATM is way cool.

Thank you! I am hoping that is not where we are going, but I got selected for Idaho, so there is a big chance...
