Hey everyone. What can you guys tell me about this facility. Well I know somewhat about it since I go to school at UND, but what about the airport. What facility level? Staffing levels? Any other info about this facility would be nice. I can't see what someone would want to work there though will all of the student pilots!

I know from a friend of mine there that UND flight school makes it one busy tower to work at, which will enable you to truly learn how to work the traffic pattern efficiently and safely. Busy VFR tower controllers usually do well when they move up into busier facilities.

The one developmental they had there just decided to terminate his training, so I guess that will open up a slot.

Additionally, the 4 Eligible to Retire will be headed out over the next 2 years, from talking to them during my tower tour in my last semester at UND. I put ND down on my application, hoping to end up in GFK or FAR.

I flew there too. The best part of working there I would assume is to watch some of awesome landings made by the student pilots. I loved sitting up in the cafeteria or little food court they had on the top floor there and watching the landings. Sometimes I wasn't sure if some of them would make it, but the Warriors take a good beating.

Lol I used to do the same thing on my dinner breaks when working dispatch. Although I must say a lot of the students' landings were better than the Allegiant ones!
