We're sitting at ok staffing right now, but not full - it's a great place to work! Really friendly people, beautiful view :P And while we're not as busy as in years past (so the stories go) we still have days that can exhaust you *lol*

Yes as crazycam31 said, we lie within D01's airspace!

If anyone would like more information or a contact # for our admin, send me a PM I got here late June of 2008, and certified back in May as a CTI first facility.

For an exhausting day, it's gotta be all about a full pattern for 35L/17R with opposite direction ops on 10/28, and a line of biz jets mixed with 172s lined up 10 deep for departure on 35R/17L.

And the power lines, and CASSE, and the North Shore of Cherry Creek Res. And The Perfect Landing. And climbing to 8k with 132.75 for Denver Departure for virtually every IFR departure. And monitoring tower at the hold line. And the best damned view of Mt Evans and the Rockies ever... even DEN can't hold a candle to APA's view on a clear morning.

I miss my home airport...

Grand Forks can get some full patterns but nothing compares to APA. Parallel on final with Hawkers, Gulfstreams, and Citations. 9000ft density altitude and barely making over the buildings south of 470. and nothing beats requesting to land 10!

KAPA is dearly missed

Hmm they must count CPC-ITs as part of our CPC total even though they're not checked out yet? We've got 4 and 1 DEV with 16 CPCs. We've gotten a lot of transfers over the last few months and supposedly another DEV coming later in Jan?

We've become all popular the last few months :P
