Daytona Beach Tower - DAB

My name is Mike Partovi. I currently attend FCCJ for ATC after having transferred over from Embry-Riddle. I am required to do an aviation internship for graduation. FCCJ only uses Jax center for their interns. Unfortunately, there aren't any available slots to get my name in and of course the waiting list is pretty long. I'm due to graduate (cross my fingers) end of this fall. The program head told me I could do my internship at any facility that was willing to take an intern. Seeing how I live in DAB... Does anyone here know who I would have to speak to about trying to make this happen? I flew out of DAB for 4 years and know it's one of the busiest level 9's and I think this would be a great experience...not to mention convenience (not having to commute to jax). I would love to open some sort of communication between myself, program head, and whom ever I'd have to get to approve this as soon as possible. Thanks for any help! |

Posted: 04-30-2009, 12:29 PM Just ask for the Air Traffic Manager. I spoke with him a few weeks ago and is a very nice guy but I can't recall his name.
