Spirit of St. Louis Tower - SUS

I'll be headed there if I ever get to OKC (just waiting on the FOL now). Visited once in April of this year and thought it was a neat place. It's not as high tech or "glamorous" as Lambert (they get the new, pretty systems), and being a level 7, it has limited traffic. The aircraft that come through are pretty much all GA and business jets, though they are equipped to handle (and have handled in the past) all sizes.

SUS is located in Chesterfield, MO, approximately 22 miles west of Lambert International Airport, and 25 miles WNW of downtown St. Louis. The airport used to be host to an annual St. Louis County Fair and Air Show, but that ended in 2007.

Chesterfield is a fairly affluent area of town, located near the townships of Town & Country, Richmond Heights, Clayton, and Ladue on the same side of the river, and is just across the river from St. Peters and St. Charles. The T75 TRACON facility is located about 4 miles north in Weldon Spring.
