Does anybody have any info about this facility? I was thinking about putting Alaska on my geo pref. for pubnat8. Don't really know anything about the place so any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

I signed up for Alaska as my geo pref. in pubnat8 as well, and was wondering about staffing levels? Are you packed with trainees from previous pubnats and pubnat AK? I put down this location because I heard Alaska and Puerto Rico were always looking for new blood. Do you get enough new guys coming through to make this statement false?

If you put Alaska you'll probably get it...most center washouts are offered one of the towers there. I dont know how backed up the pubnats are though.

I work at ZAN and we are way overstaffed. I heard PANC and MRI are both staffed up. Juneau and Fairbanks always need people but funding is an issue. I saw a report that the FAA is no longer placeing OTS unless they have already recieved an Academy date. Anyone heard the same?
