Seattle Tower - SEA
Posted: 10-27-2009, 10:01 PM

Anyone work there who is willing to tell me about staffing levels, both current and future? What is the work environment like? Though it is Class B airspace, it is a level 9 facility. Is it a good place to start? I would like to put in to work there so I want to find out everything I can, both good and bad. Thanks for the help.

Where did you locate that data?

I would like to play around with some of that while I am bored waiting to get into the academy.

Thanks,

Michael

Swim gets his figures from the FAA computer in his facility.

Not in the SEA thread. Check the thread in the main ATC Facility Information forum.

The number of CPCs eligible to retire is inaccurate. It's more like 5 or 6. In the past 2-3 years, they have hired a ton of VRAs and CTIs.

As for staffing, they are full.
