Boston Consolidated Tracon - A90
Posted: 04-07-2009, 09:43 AM This is the place that is at the top of my list. I spent an hour or so there job shadowing a few years ago when I was still working towards a CTI degree. Anyone working there now or have any insights to share?

Posted: 09-16-2009, 12:59 PM I'm just curious about how long it takes to CPC at A90.

Re: Boston Consolidated Tracon - A90
Posted: 02-25-2010, 10:18 AM The facility is brand new and really nice. CPC is about 12-18 months. The cost of living is in the medium to high end for rent. Average rent for a condo or townhouse runs about $1500.00 a month. No state taxes kinda helps out.

Re: Boston Consolidated Tracon - A90
Posted: 03-26-2010, 08:51 AM They are not taking any newbies. They are only accepting one transfer for the year to the facility. This past year (2009) is the first time they have accepted anyone without prior ATC experience. If they start accepting any new hires again, it will not be until next year.

Posted: 04-02-2010, 06:47 PM Yup, that's me! First day there will be June 7th. Aviator, looking forward to getting up there. I should be getting a training packet in the mail this week. If you see Bruce Hall tell him BJ from PBI said hello.
